Udit Narayan has ruled the 90s and even today, he is one of the best singers. His voice makes everyone fall in love with him. His concerts go house full and he has a huge fan following. The singer has been trolled for a video of his that has gone viral. There have been many negative comments about him. In the video, the singer is seen kissing his female fans during his performance. He was seen singing Tip Tip Barsa Paani (Mohra, 1994). He clicked selfies with his female fans and even kissed them on cheeks. However, in some parts of the video, it looked like it was a lip kiss and fans have bashed him for this.
Udit Narayan gets trolled
People have said mean things about the 69 year old singer. He has been getting a lot of backlash for this video and now, the singer has reacted to this trolling. He spoke to Hindustan Times and said that some fans are really mad and crazy. He said that he is not like this and they are all decent people.
The singer added, “Some people encourage this and show their love through this. Udaake kya karna hai ab iss cheez ko? There are so many people in the crowd, and we have bodyguards present too. But fans think they are getting a chance to meet, so someone extends their hands for a handshake, some kiss the hands… yeh sab deewangi hoti hai. Uspe itna dhyaan nahi dena chahiye.”
He further said that he is from a reputed family and hence, everyone wants a controversy to happen. He said he is not that type of a person. He also spoke about the part of kissing the woman. He said that he has been in Bollywood for 46 years now and he has never had such an image. He added, “In fact, I fold my hands when I see the love my fans shower on me, while on stage, I bow down, thinking phir aaj ka yeh waqt laut ke aaye na aaye.”
On the video that went viral, one of the social media users wrote, “What the hell was that ? And why did more women kept allowing the behaviour after first attempt . The best part is people won’t classify this as serious groping because he is Udit . Shitty double standards of society .” Another user wrote, “Cheapness to a different level…”
