She gave back-to-back superhit films and managed to rule million of hearts with her charming personality. She was the first Indian to win the Miss Asia Pacific award in 1970 at the age of 19. Zeenat Aman is considered to be the discovery of actor Dev Anand and in 1971, she made her debut with Hare Rama Hare Krishna and gained immense popularity. At the peak of her career, she left the industry. She was born in Bombay in 1951 and her father was a Muslim and mother was a Maharashtrian Brahmin. She is the cousin of actor Raza Murad. Well, when she was 13 years old her father died and later her mother married a German man named Heinz and took German citizenship. Zeenat worked with Bollywood superstars. She came close to Sanjay Khan while working in films and the two met while shooting for Abdullah. Reportedly, Sanjay used Zeenat while he was married and his wife Zarine was pregnant.
Once Zeenat was shooting for BR Chopra’s film in Lonavala with her entire team, when Sanjay asked her to return to Mumbai immediately. Sanjay wanted Zeenat to come to Mumbai and complete the remaining shooting of the song first. Zeenat refused because she had already given dates to BR Chopra. Sanjay lost his calm and she said that she was having fun with BR Chopra in Lonavala. Zeenat started crying and later took time out from the shoot and went to Mumbai. Zeenat reached Sanjay Khan’s house and got to know that Sanjay was partying with his wife Zarine at Hotel Taj. She wanted to settle the date issue with Sanjay. After Sanjay saw Zeenat he lost his calm and hit Zeenat in the hotel room. He repeatedly pulled Zeenat’s hair and threw her on the ground. Zarine was also encouraging Sanjay and told him to teach her such a lesson that she would remember it for the rest of her life. Sanjay hit Zeenat on the head and it is said that because of this her eyes got permanently damaged. Zeenat went into depression and her career ended. Zeenat did not file a police complaint against Sanjay and decided to leave him. Later, Sanjay started saying that Zeenat got this disease from her mother. Zeenat then married Mazhar Khan in 1985 and became the mother of Azad and Jahan Khan. She later decided to part ways, but her husband died. While Sanjay has four children. His daughter Suzanne Khan was married to actor Hrithik Roshan and his son Zayed Khan is a popular star.
