A few month’s ago, a top actress’s sister-in-law had to deal with immense trolling over some photos she posted. Later, she was even slammed for giving a clarification. Now, the sister-in-law has opened up about how hurt she was when she was pulled for something that wasn’t her fault. So who are they? Keep reading further.
The actress and her sister-in-law we are talking about are Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shrima Rai. In an interview, Shrima shared how she was painted as a ‘shady character’ for something that was not true. Rai said, “It was almost like when you watch those Indian TV dramas, a new character came and that new character was Shrima Rai. That’s how I felt. I didn’t want that to be my calling card and it’s one thing to have the support of whoever you are related to; that’s something else. But if you are doing it on your own and you own that, it’s very unfair for someone to take that away from you without having an interview.”
Shrima Rai opened up about how some trolls started doing comparisons and how one person’s journey cannot be compared to another’s. Shrima revealed that she was quite hurt how her career and hard work were ignored and people dragged her into controversy.
The blogger further told Mohsinaa Ahmad, “There’s no one who is saying to say that that woman hasn’t done what she has done and accomplished amazing, amazing things. Of course, respect is there for that but it doesn’t mean you have to disrespect somebody else. Just because you are a fan of that person doesn’t mean you have to be a troll of this person.”
