In 2023, T-Series released its remake Pasoori Nu as part of the soundtrack of Satyaprem Ki Katha. The video featured Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani. Pasoori Nu is crooned by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar with additional music and lyrics by Rochak Kohli and Gurpreet Saini, respectively.

After the Hindi remake was heavily criticised, Arijit Singh revealed why he decided to do it as he himself is a huge fan of Ali Sethi an Shae Gill’s original track. On his X (formerly Twitter), Arijit stated that the makers promised him a yearly fund for the school education for an underprivileged student, and he was ready to accept abuses for the same.

With Pasoori crossing 1 billion streams on YouTube Music, this achievement once again confirms the track’s status as a cultural phenomenon and showcases its worldwide appeal.
