Meet the actor Mukul Chadda
The actor is Mukul Chadda. The actor is best known for being Jagdeep Chadda in the Indian version of the web series – The Office. He has also featured in projects like Sunflower, Sherni, Big Girls Don’t Cry and many more. His acting chops have received wide appreciation. But not many know that he is a graduate from IIM Ahmedabad.
He was working in New York in a bank. However, he quit and moved to Mumbai. In an interview with TOI, Mukul Chadda once revealed the reason behind his big decision. He said that he wasn’t happy doing what he was doing. He was always inclined towards theatre and even when he was in the States he would participate in classes at Lee Strasberg theatre and Film Institute. But he never thought of acting as a career back then. When he quit and took a sabbatical, he continued to do theatre. “Karte karte, I did it for longer and after I did a bunch of advertisements and other stuff I realized that it was paying the bills so I could continue doing it. I sort of accidentally stayed on this course and then at some point I realized that I’m a full-time actor now. From a banker to an actor, the journey has been an exciting one!” he said.
Mukul Chadda is married to actress Rasika Dugal. They reportedly dated for three years before getting married in the year 2010. She is best known for her roles in shows like Mirzapur, Made In Heaven, A Suitable Boy, and many more.
