Former President Yoon Suk Yul of South Korea has formally been faraway from workplace.On April 4 at 11 a.m. KST, the Korean Constitutional Courtroom introduced its unanimous ruling on the impeachment of the now-former president Yoon Suk Yeol.
The ruling was made 122 days following the martial regulation announcement made on December 3 by the previous president and 111 days following the impeachment movement made on December 14. Yoon Suk Yeol’s declaration of emergency martial regulation was deemed unconstitutional as he didn’t observe the formal course of and the explanations for declaration weren’t justified.
An election to nominate a brand new president will now be held inside 60 days.
