The second installment of Pushpa is now available for streaming on OTT platform Netflix. The movie starring Allu Arjun has received an impressive start on Netflix, with the Telugu version accumulating over 6 million views and ranking second in the non-English category. This demonstrates the strong response the film has garnered on the platform. Anticipation for the OTT release has been high since the date was announced, and the Bengali version has also had a solid start. An additional 22 minutes have been added to the film’s runtime, resulting in a total runtime of 3 hours and 44 minutes for the OTT version. While various aspects of the film are being discussed, the climactic sequence where Allu Arjun’s character fights with his hands tied has particularly captivated the audience. Allu Arjun’s larger-than-life performance has taken the world by storm, and the film’s popularity continues to grow in the Western markets.
However, Arjun’s celebration of the film’s success was disrupted by his arrest in a case related to a theater stampede. After spending a night in jail, he was released on bail and temporarily prohibited from leaving the country, but is now free from legal issues. Allu Arjun has begun working on his next film, a mythological period drama where he will reportedly portray Lord Kartikeya and it will be directed by Trivikram. This upcoming project is being produced by Naga Vamsi and Chinna Babu under the Haarika & Hassine Creations banner.
