Priya Banerjee BREAKS SILENCE on Raj Babbar’s absence at Prateik Babbar’s wedding: “Nobody who is family was missing”

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Priya Banerjee shut down the rumors, emphasizing that their wedding was a family affair. “There was absolutely no family member who was missing from the wedding or our celebrations. I don’t know why there are rumors that ‘family members’ were absent. Our families were there, including my parents, his aunts who raised him, his nana-nani, and everyone who mattered.”
Aarya Babbar’s Reaction to Not Being Invited
Following the wedding, Prateik’s step brother, Aarya Babbar, claimed that the Babbar family was not invited. In an interview with ETimes, he stated, “I presume someone has overpowered his brain too much. He does not want to connect with anyone from this side of the family. He has decided not to call anyone.” He further suggested that an external influence might be affecting Prateik’s decisions, adding, “Life is no less than a film; someone in the house is influencing him.”
A Close-Knit Wedding Ceremony
Prateik Babbar and Priya Banerjee kept their wedding intimate, choosing Smita Patil’s house as the venue. The couple twinned in ivory outfits, with Priya donning a Tarun Tahiliani lehenga. While Raj Babbar’s absence raised eyebrows, Priya remains firm that their celebration included everyone they consider family.
