NTR-Neel was initially planned to go on floors in November last year. But, due to NTR’s busy commitments with Bollywood outing War 2, he was unable to accommodate dates to Neel’s film. The makers then planned to commence the regular shooting from this January and complete it in one year. However, the shooting formalities didn’t start so far and Sankranti release plans look improbable now.
Prashanth Neel is known for crafting larger-than-life dramas on huge canvas. He takes adequate time to lock perfect shots for his script. Moreover, he never rushes with the post production activities. So, the chances for NTR – Neel film to arrive on the announced date appear bleak as of now. It it misses out on the festival season, the team might target Summer season as the next option.
Rukmini Vasanth has been finalized as the female lead opposite NTR and many prominent actors are likely to be a part of this big-budget entertainer. Neel will retain his core technical team which worked on Salaar and KGF for NTR’s film as well.
Mythri Movie Makers will pool the money bags for this project.
