Meet actor who became national crush post Bollywood debut
Well, we are talking about Rahul Roy. The actor made his debut with Aashiqui and left the world surprised. The movie was a big hit and his chemistry with Anu Aggarwal was loved by all. They made a hit pair instantly. Post his debut, he did a few films but could not come out as a star. His films did not work well and soon everyone started forgetting him.
The craze behind him was over soon. Later, he did more films and then entered Bigg Boss season 1. He turned out t0 be the winner of the show and was again back to the limelight. He had been through a struggled phase where he did not even have enough money.
In 2020, he suffered a stroke and a heart attacks. His medical bills landed him in trouble and it was Salman Khan who helped him that time. He revealed in an interview how Salman helped him and even thanked the actor for it. He spoke to Bollywood Hungama and said, “I want to thank Salman (Khan) because whatever bill was pending, Salman cleared it in February.”
Now, Rahul Roy will be back on screens with Salman Khan’s Sikandar. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and is helmed by AR Murugadoss. The film is all set to release this year during Eid.
