Set in the Joseon era, “Check in Hanyang” is a romance drama about four young people who become “interns” at Yongcheonru, the grandest inn in all of Joseon. Bae In Hyuk stars as Lee Eun Ho, a prince who is secretly hiding his identity, while Kim Ji Eun plays Hong Duk Soo, a woman who disguises herself as a man to join Yongcheonru.
Jung Gun Joo plays the role of Cheon Jun Hwa, the heir to Yongcheonru, and DKZ’s Jaechan plays Ko Soo Ra, an upstanding but ambitious young man who wants to restore his family’s lost honor.

At the end of the previous episode of “Check in Hanyang,” Lee Eun Ho and Hong Duk Soo unexpectedly ran into one another when they both snuck into Cheon Bang Joo (Kim Eui Sung)’s residence. While fighting over his golden key fragment, they unmasked each other—and were shocked to learn one another’s identities.
Now that they know that they are both in search of the golden key, Lee Eun Ho and Hong Duk Soo share a secret that no one else knows. As a result, there is a noteworthy shift in their dynamic—which doesn’t go unnoticed by Cheon Jun Hwa.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Lee Eun Ho remains by Hong Duk Soo’s side and subtly takes care of her. Hong Duk Soo wears an uneasy expression and appears to be lost in thought, while a concerned Lee Eun Ho watches her closely as if unable to tear his eyes away from her.
A final photo captures Cheon Jun Hwa observing the pair from a distance, clearly noticing that something has changed about their relationship. As Cheon Jun Hwa—who knows that Hong Duk Soo is a woman—previously confessed his feelings to her, it remains to be seen how he will respond to this new development.
