Jack Doherty Crashes McLaren on Livestream | Shocking Footage of YouTuber’s McLaren Accident

YouTube personality and Kick streamer Jack Doherty crashed his 2024 McLaren on Saturday morning while distracted by his phone during a rainstorm, and he kept the cameras rolling. During his Kick live stream, Doherty lost control of his vehicle and hydroplaned across the right traffic lane into a nearby security barrier.

Following the incident, his Kick account was taken down. Driving while distracted violates their 13th guideline on ‘Lawfulness,’ which instructs streamers to adhere to local laws, prioritize safety, and always practice caution. According to Sportskeeda, Doherty had an audience of 185,000 viewers when the crash happened.

Kick has not yet responded to Road & Track’s request for comment regarding the apparent ban.

As mentioned on his YouTube channel, Doherty bought the McLaren at the end of last year for $202,850.10. Since then, he has wrapped the car in a vibrant paintball gun splatter design and added a custom exhaust system. Unfortunately, McLaren is now totaled.

After exiting the vehicle, Doherty films his cameraman, who he refers to as Michael, looking dazed and bleeding from his right temple. Doherty checks in on his friend and cameraman, asking if he’s okay. Later, both ended up in the hospital for check-ups, with Michael needing stitches.
