Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi are currently the most talked-about celebrities. Such has been their impact that fans have been eagerly waiting to see them share the screen space. Although they’ve never been paired before, the massive buzz around Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming show has left the viewers excited. Initially, it was rumored that Yeh Hai Mohabbatein stars Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Karan Patel were roped in for the show, but those plans had to be changed. Ekta Kapoor finally chose Harshad Chopda as the male lead and Shivangi Joshi as the female protagonist.
There have been reports that Harshad and Shivangi have also signed the contract of the show. Their show is tentatively titled Baaharein. According to reports, actors will soon begin shooting for the show. A photo of Harshad had also surfaced and many believed it to be his new look for Baaharein.
Bahaarein to begin after IPL 2025?
Going by the latest reports in Filmibeat, their show will kick off after IPL 2025. During this time, most of the shows will face see a drastic dip in the TRPs. Hence, the makers thought it’d be right to start the show after IPL 2025 final. A source close to the portal said, “The show might get postponed till IPL 2025 finale, as it is yet to go on floors. The GEC doesn’t want to clash with Indian Premier League 2025 and hence, might delay the launch of the show till a best slot is available.”
However, until now, Ekta Kapoor has not said anything about this project yet. Even Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi has not yet reacted to the news. Earlier, rumors suggested that Pranali Rathod would be the female lead opposite Harshad. However, she has now been featured in Ekta Kapoor’s Kumkum Bhagya alongside Akshay Bindra. Speaking of Harshad and Shivangi, both were earlier part of Rajan Shahi’s popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
