Ed Sheeran is back with another big concert tour in India. The English singer started his ‘+-=÷x 2025 Tour’ a few weeks back and last night, he performed in Chennai. The Photograph singer has a huge fan following in the country. Last year, his concert in Mumbai was a massive success and he surprised his fans with a live collaboration with Diljit Dosanjh. This year, he collaborated with AR Rahman, and the moment they created on stage was truly magical.
During the Chennai concert, Ed Sheeran started playing the beats of his popular song Shape of You. Later, he introduced AR Rahman on stage and the crowd went wild. The Oscar-winner started playing the tune of Urvasi Urvasi and began singing it while Ed continued his song. The way their voices and the tunes blended, it is bound to make any music lover happy. The joy and excitement of witnessing this marvellous moment live was visible on the audience’s face.
The Perfect singer shared a collaborative post from their performance at the Chennai concert. He captioned it, “What an honor @arrahman”. In the comments, their fans have shared amazing reactions. One fan joked, “Shape of URVASI !!!” Of course, the usual GTA 6 comment has to be there. A fan commented, “We got an AR Rahman and Ed Sheeran Collab before GTA 6”. Another person posted, “Can we please please get a spotify version of thissssssss.”
