In fact, she mostly believes Martha Stewart likes her. Barrymore is known for getting very close and comfy with the guests of her talk show. On WWHL, Barrymore reflected on that time Stewart “playfully” pushed her away. I think she was just teasing,” Barrymore told Andy Cohen. “I’ve never been able to say this before with confidence, but I can now: I think Martha really does like me. And I think the internet misunderstood the moment and just ran with it.” Regardless of what Martha Stewart thinks, Barrymore says she’s going to keep getting squished up with guests. Not that she has a choice. “I can’t actually control it,” she said.
