Beyoncé is heading back on tour!
The music icon revealed on Instagram Saturday night that she is going on tour this year in support of her Grammy-nominated album, Cowboy Carter. So it’s only fitting that the title of her upcoming musical trek is Cowboy Carter Tour.
The social media announcement featured a new headshot of Queen Bey herself, with the simple caption, “COWBOY CARTER TOUR 2025.”
Tour dates have yet to be revealed.
The BeyHive, the nickname for the Beyoncé fandom, has been patiently waiting for a big announcement after the singer teased she would be dropping news on Jan. 14. However, she postponed the announcement due to the devastating wildfires that ravaged Los Angeles earlier last month.
“I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss. We are so blessed to have brave first responders who continue to work tirelessly to protect the Los Angeles comment,” she shared on social media at the time, adding that her BeyGood foundation would be donating $2.5 million to wildfire relief efforts.
The tour announcement also came less than 24 hours before the 67th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday. Heading into the awards ceremony, Beyoncé leads with 11 nominations, including album of the year and best country album for Cowboy Carter.
Her No. 1 country hit “Texas Hold ‘Em” also scored Grammy nods for song of the year, record of the year and best country song. She was also nominated for best country solo performance for “16 Carriages,” best country/duo performance for “II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus and best Americana performance for “Ya Ya.”
Cowboy Carter, which was released in March 2024, was not only a historic effort for the singer, but it also put a spotlight on other Black artists in the country music space. A genre that Beyoncé has been open about not feeling “welcomed” in after facing criticisms when she initially tried to enter the country music scene years prior.
