Outlaws and loose cows, get ready. Cowboy Carter is comin’ to town! Well, to major cities, that is. Beyoncé posted a message on the saloon doors for all to see: She’s celebrating finally winning Album of the Year by going on tour. On February 3, Beyoncé shared a poster on her social media that advertised her Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour — a reference to her Cowboy Carter song “YA YA,” which is, in turn, a reference to the Chitlin’ Circuit, a group of venues where Black performers could play in the early 20th century. Beyoncé, however, is sticking to stadiums. The poster advertised concerts in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, London, Paris, Houston, Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Washington, D.C.
Tickets go on sale for the general public on February 14. For those who are dedicated to not getting upsold on resale tickets, there will be a presale for the Beyhive on February 11; an artist presale on February 12; and a Citi Bank, Mastercard, and Verizon presale on February 13. So lasso up some of your friends and have a Beyoncé-ticket party. Nobody wants to ruin Valentine’s Day.
