Alia Bhatt is currently promoting her new film Jigra, which hits theatres this Friday. The actress was in Delhi on Monday with co-star Vedang Raina and director Vasan Bala to discuss the movie. During the press conference, Alia was asked if she had chosen which of her films she would show her daughter Raha Kapoor first. She responded that it is a significant decision and shared a little about her experience with Raha.

In the discussion, Alia mentioned, “I was just talking about this the other day with someone, and I’m not entirely sure. It’s a significant decision to make. But just yesterday, she watched my very first song that I ever filmed, which is Radha [from Alia’s debut film Student of the Year]!”
She continued, “Right now, we’re showing her bits of songs since she’s about two years old. Actually, the first song she saw was Kesariya [from Brahmastra], and then yesterday she watched Radha teri Chunari and Badtameez Dil [Ranbir Kapoor’s song from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani] at the same time. She must be thinking that this is all quite normal (smiles).”
Alia and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their baby daughter Raha in November 2022, and she is frequently seen with them during public outings. As for Alia, she is preparing for the release of Jigra, where Vedang Raina plays her sibling. The film directed by Vasan Bala will be released in theatres on October 11. Additionally, Alia will appear in Alpha, a movie featuring Sharvari as a super agent, directed by Shiv Rawail. She will also star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
