Days after the actor took a playful jab at Kareena Kapoor Khan‘s character Geet from the film, he revealed wife Mira Rajput‘s reaction to Jab We Met in a recent interview.
Shahid Kapoor shares wife Mira Rajput’s review of Jab We Met
In a recent chat, Shahid Kapoor shared that his wife Mira Rajput likes to watch romantic movies. She also likes to watch Jab We Met that starred Shahid Kapoor along with his ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor Khan. According to Shahid, Mira Rajput believes that he is not even 5 percent close to being like Aditya from the film. The actor said, “She (Mira Rajput) says, ‘Tum Aditya jaise to 5% bhi nahin ho.’” Shahid jokingly even said, “Shukar hai main Kabir Singh bhi 5% nahin nikla (Thank god, I am not even 5 percent close to being like Kabir Singh).” In the interview, he also called Mira Rajput ‘boss’ of the house and his kids ‘boss ke manager’.
Earlier, in an interview, Shahid had taken a jab at Kareena Kapoor Khan’s character Geet stating that he agrees with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s assessment of Jab We Met characters. The filmmaker had said that Geet and Aditya would be moving toward divorce post marriage. In an interview with The Indian Express, Shahid reacted to Imtiaz Ali’s remark and said, “That’s a fun idea that Geet and Aditya are now breaking up because they are frustrated with each other. Aditya is like, ‘She is her favourite, who can ever put up with her?'” This remark raised a lot of eyebrows.
