Grant Ellis Dreamed of Becoming a Basketball Player

The 6’5″ dreamboat initially dreamed of becoming a basketball player and was a member of his college teams, however his goals were cut short due to an injury. He played for New York’s Iona University and then transferred over to Connecticut’s Albertus Magnus College. Grant also played internationally for the Dominican Republic’s team, Inios de San Francisco, and the Caribbean island nation’s club, Huellas del Siglo, according to Life&Style.

Grant Ellis’ Career Is in the World of Finance

The 31-year-old is a day-trader who is originally from New Jersey, but he is based out of Texas now.

Grant Ellis Is Dating Intentionally

Grant is emotionally available and ready to level up his love, and personal life. He is coming into the franchise with his eyes on his future and is hoping to find a wife from the reality TV show. Swoon! ABC’s bio on Grant reads: “The adventurous day trader, who captured the hearts of Bachelor Nation with his genuine desire to build a future centered around family, will be handing out roses when his season premieres next year on ABC.”

Grant Ellis Isn’t New to ‘Bachelor’ Nation

Grant was on Jenn Tran‘s season of The Bachelorette. Grant made his first impression by coming out of the limo and greeting Jenn with his catchy beatboxing, during which the bachelor adorably rapped about changing Jenn’s last name to Ellis. Although the season didn’t pan out to Jenn ultimately giving Grant her final rose, it’s now Grant’s time to do the choosing.
