“When the Stars Gossip” tells the unlikely love story of Commander Eve Kim (Gong Hyo Jin), who works at a zero-gravity space station, and Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), a tourist at the space station who arrives with a secret mission.

What will be the fate of Gong Ryong and Commander Eve Kim’s romance?
From the moment Gong Ryong first visited the space station, he was inexplicably drawn to Commander Eve, who also began to feel her heart flutter from the moment Gong Ryong helped treat her foot. The two eventually began to date after overcoming a life-threatening ordeal together.
However, their relationship took a turn for the worse once Gong Ryong’s secret artificial insemination experiment in space was discovered by the ground control center. Eve Kim, who had to protect her crew as the commander, returned to space after disposing of the fertilized cells, while Gong Ryong received severe punishment for conducting a prohibited experiment in space. Viewers are curious to find out if the two will be able to reunite.
Will Eve Kim successfully give birth in space?
After reaching Earth, Eve Kim immediately went back up to space to fix the space station, but she noticed suspicious changes to her body. Performing an ultrasound on herself, Eve Kim discovered that she is pregnant. In addition to Gong Ryong being unaware of this, tensions rose as there has yet to be a successful case of giving birth in zero-gravity space.
To make matters worse, a previous experiment of a mice successfully getting pregnant for the first time in space unfortunately ended in miscarriage upon returning to Earth, leaving Eve Kim even more discouraged. With space being such an uncertain factor for the health of the mother and fetus, viewers are curious to find out if Eve Kim will be the first to give birth in space.
What lies ahead for the astronauts and the MZ Group members?
In addition to Gong Ryong and Eve Kim, the fates of the astronauts and the MZ Group members have yet to be answered. The romance between Kang Kang Soo (Oh Jung Se) and MZ Group heir Choi Go Eun (Han Ji Eun) has yet to be resolved, while Mina Lee (Lee Cho Hee) and Lee Seung Joon (Heo Nam Joon) are dating in secret.
Furthermore, viewers are curious to find out the fates of Kang Tae Hee (Lee El), Park Dong Ah (Kim Joo Hun), Donna Lee (Lee Cho Hee), Han Si Won (Lee Hyun Kyun), Ma Eun Soo (Park Ye Young), and more as they work tirelessly for the development of Korea’s space industry.
The final episode of “When the Stars Gossip” will air on February 23 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
